Gate valves are designed for reliable on-off flow control. When fully open, fluid passes straight through the valve, minimizing pressure drop. When closed, the gate seals against the valve seats to stop flow completely. These valves are ideal for fully open or fully closed positions and are not recommended for throttling. Their robust construction allows operation even with fluids containing solids, making them suitable for demanding applications in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and industrial sectors.
